Beautiful log cabin on three acres built in 2006 on Lake Michigan, just south of Stony Lake. Large rooms, beautifully decorated, very comfortable.
The home has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus a powder room. Open floor plan allows for lovely woods/lake views with plenty of space for relaxing. Fire pit on lakeside stone patio, Weber charcoal grill, and outdoor hot/cold shower. Cozy screened porch with functional stone fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with stone fireplace (not for use). Upstairs den has a smart TV (no TV service). Full unfinished basement with laundry and beach equipment including 1-person kayak.
Fifty steps down through woods to the beach and lake. Grab beach chairs and toys on your way down. You have a huge, beautiful, white sand beach all to yourselves.
This area of Michigan is a wonderful summer playground with several golf courses nearby and the famous Silver Lake Dunes just 10-15 minutes away. It is quiet and rural for a lovely secluded getaway ... this is not an area for fine dining and high-end shopping, but a place to spend quality time with family and friends ... days on the beach, nights playing games or watching movies.
The owner may be residing in a studio on a back lot, about a block or two away from the property (although this is the woods and there are no blocks!). They may be using the beach steps but in no way will infringe upon your privacy.
