Set away from the quaint town of Smithville, Shanti cottage is your space to retreat. The cottage is set on 4 acres bordering Buescher State Park and UT's Stengel research center. Acres of pine forests, hiking trails and quiet spaces to rest and watch the sunset or listen to the birds. The cottage has a full kitchen stocked will pantry basics, a cosy living space, one bedroom downstairs, one loft bedroom upstairs and one light filled room for meditation and contemplation.

The cottage is set in rural surrounds and had plenty of space for parking your cars. Bring your bikes or use the ones provided to enjoy the outdoors. The State Park is only a half mile away and it's easy biking to two sunset overlooks. The town of Smithville is a short drive away and has good vibes, wonderful restaurants and antique stores. Historic downtown Bastrop is also a only a short drive away.
