You will feel right at home in this 5 bedroom/4 bath spacious, open floor plan home with chic modern furnishings, double-sided fireplace, a 55’ TV and everything is fresh and new! This home has undergone a major renovation that was completed in 2018 and has all new bathrooms (4 full), kitchen, laundry, fireplace (2-sided) and chimney and sophisticated modern furnishings. The house is located on a quiet dead end street just steps from the Sugarbush bus-route and 1/8 mile distance above the base of the Sugarbush Village and Lincoln Peak ski area. The home is also a few miles from Sugarbush’s Robert Trent Jones Sr 18 hole golf course.
The spacious living room is cleverly designed to accommodate those looking for a cozy spot to sit in front of the stone fireplace, as well as those that prefer to spend their downtime watching movies and sports on a big smart tv. The unique fireplace opens up to both the living room and the dining area. Whichever you choose the setup is perfect for a large group of family and friends or just a low-key evening at home for a small family. The adjacent dining room and kitchen area features seating for 8, with the ability to add a leaf for 10-12, and a modern stylish kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances.
There is also access to a deck and patio with a BBQ and outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Vermont foliage! We have recently added a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, the only available in the spring, summer and fall.
The stylish bedrooms are very comfortable with an ideal spot for every one in your extended family! Upstairs, the master bedroom is outfitted with a king bed and has an en-suite bath with shower. Adjacent to the master is a room with 2 twin size beds that is ideal for younger children. There is a 3rd bedroom upstairs with a queen size bed. Both the queen and twin bedrooms share a beautiful, modern bathroom with shower. On the main floor, there is a queen bedroom with an en-suite bath with shower that is easily accessible by everyone, and a bunk room that comfortably sleeps 4 children with its own smart tv.
Between the comfortable well- thought out accommodations, the proximity to Sugarbush mountain and its amenities, and snowshoe and hiking/biking trails right out your back door (there is a trail head across the street), you have everything you need for a refreshing mountain escape! And it's all fresh and new...a hard find in the Mad River Valley! This house is perfect for 1 or 2 families and we will consider dogs too!
