The space
Nestled in a beautiful historic neighborhood on a quiet street, this unique, multi-level home is the perfect place to claim for your summer or winter vacation with room to sleep 6 adults and 2 kids!
As you enter our home your eyes are immediately drawn to the gorgeous hardwood hickory flooring plus professionally designed with new furnishings and décor flowing throughout the home. Curl up indoors next to the gas fireplace with your favorite novel, or enjoy dining outdoors by the pool.
The outside pool grill and dinning area is really the highlight of this home. We have recently purchased new outdoor furniture, and we also installed commercial grade misters operated by remote for when it gets hot. People are always telling us it feels like they are at a Four Seasons when they come over.
Inside, on the main floor, large windows and large sliding glass doors compliment the open kitchen, dining and living areas. This floor has formal dining, and bar area, office, living room, kitchen, kitchen nook, and mud room (with 2nd fridge - perfect for stocking with pool beverages, and grill items). Additionally, you’ll find a half bathroom on this main level.
The kitchen is equipped with Viking stainless steel appliances and plenty of extras to keep the chef in your group smiling! The living area provides a large Flat screen TV (with cable and streaming apps) in front of a lengthy built-in gas fireplace.
Upstairs, all bedrooms have flat screen TVs with streaming apps and UTube TV. Also, beds, sheets, and bedding are all very high quality. At the top of the stairs, you’ll find the master bedroom with a King bed and front porch overlooking our quite street. There is also a newly remodeled ensuite bathroom including double vanity, walk-in shower, a large soaking tub, in addition to a very sizable walk-in closet! A second bedroom down the hall has a King bed with workspace and ensuite full bathroom. Across the hall is the 3rd bedroom (typically used by my 5 year old daughter). She has a full bed, and ensuite full bath.
On the lower level is the 4th bedroom with Queen bed and large ensuite bathroom (feels like a master bath) . There’s also another queen, in the basement area, but it’s not private so for the use of kids is recommended. The rest of the lower level boasts a 200 inch theater screen for movie night!

Our neighborhood, Cory Merrill, is very close to Washington Park, Historic South Gaylord Street, Cherry Creek, and Downtown Denver. Our home is a short walk or bike ride (.6 miles) from Historic South Gaylord Street where you will find multiple bars, restaurants, and more boutique shops. Some of our favorite restaurants include Homegrown Tap and Dough for pizza, Perdida for fancy Mexican, Wash Park Grille, Agave Taco Bar, or Fooducopia where the food is fantastic! Also, just a few more blocks at you are at beautiful Washington Park! This park has two tot playgrounds, 10 tennis courts, basketball courts, and even paddle boats and paddle boarding rentals in the summer. Our neighborhood also offers a biking route directly to Cherry Creek (8 minute bike ride 1.5 miles), access to multiple bars, restaurants, plus an endless number of boutique shops. We have 2 bikes for you to use if you enjoy getting around on bikes.
Also, Denver Zoo, Denver museum of Nature and Science (great IMAX), Denver Botanical Gardens, and the Denver Art Museum, and Downtown Denver are a 5-15 minute drive.
On the Northside of downtown, visit “Lo-Do” which is a must-experience district with shopping, dining options, and nightlife.
Take the family to spend the day at the Downtown Aquarium, Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park. The Pepsi Center is under 15 minutes away with a variety of concerts and sporting events. From there, you are on the edge of downtown Denver with more shopping, sightseeing, and year-round events for the entire family. Don’t forget to take the kids to the Children's Museum for a day packed with laughter and learning for all!
