Private year-round escape perfect for getaways and family gatherings. Spacious recently-built six bedroom home on wooded acreage that surrounds a sunny yard with in-ground heated swimming pool. This property is not available for weddings or high school/college events. The minimum age to rent the property is 27.
Six bedrooms including bunk room perfect for kids with full + twin bunk bed sets. Large game room / den opens on to screened porch overlooking the woods and backyard pool.
The pool will open for the 2025 season on May 9 and will close on Sept 22.
The house has a three bedroom/two bath main floor area with open kitchen/living/dining room, large closed in deck for group dining with heat and AC, laundry room and large primary suite. Downstairs is an expansive game room and den with ping pong and foosball tables, a 75" TV and three sofas, a bunk room that sleeps 10 with private bath, a half bath and a large screened porch with outdoor living area that overlooks the pool. Attached and accessible from both the house or a separate outdoor entrance is a two bedroom, one bath apartment with its own kitchen and open living area, washer/dryer and private screened porch.
The in-ground pool with tables, umbrellas and chaise lounge chairs is in a large open back yard with great afternoon sun exposure. The yard is surrounded by dense woods that offer complete privacy. Across the street is a lakefront nature preserve; down the street is the trailhead of a walking path through the woods to a Lake Michigan beach. One mile away is West Side County Park, with amenities that include a playground, public beach, restrooms, and lawn area / playing field. The charming towns of Douglas, Saugatuck, Fennville, and South Haven are a short drive away.
You'll have access to the entire house, yard and pool. We are close by and available by email, text or phone, but will otherwise stay out of your way! The pool will open for the 2025 season on May 9 and will close on Sept 22.
After booking is confirmed, guest and host will execute a separate rental agreement. It is a standard contract that is required by my insurance company and shouldn't contain any surprises.
