About the neighborhood: Petworth is lovely residential neighborhood located about 3 miles north of the White House. The house is located within walking distance to the commercial Kennedy Street. There's a farmers market on Saturday mornings from May-November, great dining options (Including Anxo Cidery and Pizza, La Coop Coffee, Honeymoon Chicken and Timber Pizza).
The house is one block from Georgia Ave which is a major road connecting downtown DC to Silver Spring, MD. The house is located near major bus stops that take you straight downtown to all the sights and museums DC has to offer. It's also a 25 minute walk from the metro.
