Take a 25 minute walk or a short 5 minute car ride to arrive at UVA's iconic Lawn, the epicenter of the university. Our house is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants (ranging from Italian to Thai to Indian food) and many large grocery stores, such as Wegmans and Lions.
Perhaps the best part about the house's location is its direct access to a variety of hiking trails. Just steps outside your backyard, you will be able to walk onto a path that connects to the Rivanna Trail Loop. Leading alongside a babbling creek in the tranquil woods, this trail will bring you to Charlottesville's beautiful Rivanna River. Perfect for a morning or afternoon hike... and especially perfect for dog walks!
Overall, this house is extremely well-equipped for the needs of its guests. It has 3 coffee machines, including a Nespresso, a Cuisinart, and ...our personal favorite ;) ... the Bialetti coffee maker. The smart T.V. has Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, Youtube, Hulu, and Disney Plus, so bring your logins to sign in and watch. You will find all the appliances and cleaning supplies you may need throughout your stay, and we insist that guests do not hesitate to contact us if they have any issues, needs, or questions.
