This guest cabin sits on the property of a classic Sporting Camp just outside of Bingham, Maine. Originally a logging camp, the facility has been a fishing and hunting meca for lodging as well as Maine Guide service for the last 45 years. When renting the guest house for your vacation, you will have privacy with the availability of the assistance from the owners next door! We are directly on ATV and snowmobile trails, and we offer full outdoor adventure guide service if desired. Backcountry eco/wildlife tours, waterfall tours, pontoon boat cruises on the lake, whitewater rafting, canoe and kayaking, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and ATV or snowmobile rentals are all available add-ons during your stay with us! The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, dishes, full size refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, radio/cd player, ROKU TV (with Fubo TV provided and many apps for you to use,) and VCR/DVD player. Two bedrooms include a total of two queen beds and one bunkbed (2 twins.) Full bathroom. All bedding and towels are provided. Cabin is non-smoking and NO PETS please. Mid-week housekeeping service available for a nominal fee.
We are located 5 minutes from town where you'll find a grocery store, a general store, gas stations, pizza/deli shops, banks/ATM, and health center.
There is plenty of parking, and if you're part of a large group, we have other accommodations as well. People love the remote feel but being only minutes from "town." We are 1 mile from a public swimming area and boat launch. This is a family property with no bar, but we do have meals available by advanced reservation. Campfire pit, gas grills, volleyball net, cornhole, are all part of what's available here to make memories with!
