Positive: Location is idea. house is spacious and enough for the whole families (5 adults + 2 young children).

Negative: 1. Air conditioning The built-in air conditioner in the bedroom is very old and not very effective. There is also a portable unit provided, but it takes some effort to understand how to operate it properly. Clearer instructions or an upgraded system would improve comfort significantly. 2. Rubbish bins on arrival When we checked in on Tuesday, the inside of the house was generally clean and well presented. However, both the general waste and recycling bins outside were already completely full from the previous stay. I understand that the scheduled collection is on Friday, but the bins should have been emptied or managed before new guests arrived. The lids could not even be closed because they were so overfilled. During our stay, the temperature averaged around 35°C. This made the rubbish smell extremely strong. Although the house itself is beautiful, every time we opened the door, the smell from the bins entered the house and significantly affected our overall experience. The same reason we didn't use the swimming pool at all due to the bins just next to it. Inside the house was lovely — but the situation with the rubbish unfortunately detracted from what could have been a much more enjoyable stay. I called the staycay team on 18th Feb and 19th Feb but not helpful on this issue.
